Privacy Policy
This policy explains how JARVIS Next accesses, uses, stores, and protects Google user data. JARVIS Next is a private, limited-user productivity application independently operated by Jason Mayo.
Google data accessed
JARVIS Next requests only the access needed for its currently available Google features:
- Google Calendar: read-only access to upcoming event names, dates, and times.
- Gmail: read-only access used for user-directed searches and the display of message sender, subject, date, and snippet information.
- Google Drive: read-only metadata access used to search filenames and display file metadata. JARVIS Next does not retrieve Drive file contents through this feature.
How Google data is used
Google data is used solely to provide the authorized user with the requested personal productivity functions inside the locally running JARVIS Next application. Google data is not used for advertising, profiling, credit decisions, surveillance, or training generalized artificial-intelligence models.
Google information displayed by these features is not automatically sent to an online AI model. The public website at jasonmayoassistant.com does not receive Google account data or OAuth tokens.
Storage and protection
OAuth authorization tokens are stored only on the owner-controlled Windows computer. Tokens are encrypted using Windows Data Protection so they are bound to the signed-in Windows user. JARVIS Next does not intentionally retain the Google search results or calendar listings produced by these read-only features after they are displayed.
Sharing and disclosure
JARVIS Next does not sell, rent, or share Google user data with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties. Google user data is not transferred except when required to provide a feature explicitly requested by the authorized user, comply with applicable law, or protect against fraud, abuse, or security threats.
Data retention and deletion
Encrypted OAuth tokens remain on the local computer until the account is disconnected or the token files are deleted. An authorized user can also revoke JARVIS Next through the third-party connections section of their Google Account. Revocation prevents further Google access.
Limited Use compliance
JARVIS Next’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Website privacy
This public information website does not offer user accounts, sign-in, contact forms, advertising, or behavioral analytics. Standard technical request information may be processed temporarily by the hosting and network provider to deliver and secure the website.
Policy changes
This policy will be updated if JARVIS Next’s handling of Google user data materially changes. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
